Kiiora

Folk ensemble Kiiora is inspired by Seto and Finno-Ugric music. In addition to Estonian traditional repertoire, our programme includes a significant amount of original music rooted in folk traditions. Because of our lively stage energy, audiences have nicknamed the group the "spark band". Once the music carries listeners to the dance floor, the age or origin of a tune no longer matters - the vibrant playing is always equally engaging.

Kiiora has now spent 16 years introducing traditional music all across Europe. At the most recent National Dance Festival, nearly 10% of the pieces performed were composed by us!
